Westmoreland Community First

A semi-permanent housing community is currently being established in Westmoreland, one of the parishes hardest hit by the storm. The modular homes are designed to withstand category 3 hurricane winds and can be assembled in less than a week.

"We are prioritizing efficient use of disaster relief funds to ensure our citizens have a roof over their heads before the peak of the hurricane season," the Prime Minister stated during a tour of the new development site.
