How to Read Your JPS Meter
Step-by-step guide to finding your kWh reading

Locate your meter Usually mounted on an outside wall, near the main electrical panel or at the property boundary.

Read the dials or digital display Digital meters show kWh directly. Dial meters have 4–5 dials — read left to right, noting the lower number when a pointer is between two digits.

Record the current reading Write down the full number shown (e.g., 04821 kWh).

Subtract your previous reading Your bill shows your last reading. Subtract it from the current reading to get your monthly consumption.
Example: 04821 − 04656 = 165 kWh -
