Privacy Policy

This policy explains what HowJamaica collects when you use howjamaica.com/shop and how we use it.

What we collect

• Order details: your name, phone/WhatsApp number, email, delivery address and parish, and the recipient's details if you order for someone else.
• Your bag: the items in your cart and checkout details you start typing, so we can save your bag and help you finish an order you didn't complete.
• Account details if you create an account: login email, saved addresses, wishlist and order history. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
• Payments: card and PayPal payments are processed by PayPal and Square. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Site usage: pages viewed, device and approximate location, through our own visitor statistics and Google Analytics / Google Ads cookies.

How we use it

To process and deliver your order, contact you or the recipient about delivery, send order updates and reminders about a saved bag, answer your questions, prevent fraud and improve the store. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

Only with the people needed to complete your order: delivery drivers and couriers (such as Knutsford Express or ZipMail), payment processors (PayPal, Square), and our email and analytics providers.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and to support your orders. Saved bags and account details can be deleted on request.

You can ask us to see, correct or delete your information, or to stop reminder messages, by contacting us on WhatsApp or at admin@howjamaica.com.
